Highland Property Services were established in 1988 as property consultants, estate agents and letting agents offering a comprehensive sales & property management service from our centrally located offices in the centre of Aviemore. The founder Mr. James Armour returned to his home area after some 10 years absence as Contract Manager for an Overseas Company in Europe and wished to establish a Company offering a “complete property solution” for property owners throughout Aviemore and the Spey Valley. Now with more than 22 years experience we continue to represent property throughout the Cairngorms National Park and Highlands of Scotland.

Location: Our refurbished Aviemore Offices enable us to specialise in the sale, rental & management of residential and commercial property throughout the Cairngorms National Park area and the Scottish Highlands. This has recently been complemented with a further p/time Branch Office facility in Nairn on the Moray Firth coastline.     
 
We are also the only independent agent in the North with our Aviemore Office open SIX days per week, Mon to Sat: 9am – 5pm and most public/bank holidays.

Buying property in Scotland
The law concerning a property purchase in Scotland is quite different to that of England, Wales and Northern Ireland, so if you are new to buying property in Scotland, then please view our guide which will offer useful advice. Highland Home Reports: Our Aviemore Office will be pleased to provide you with a suitable Home Report pertaining to your chosen property (assuming it is available) from an approved Chartered Surveyor normally via our website link or for a small admin. cost normally within 7 days of a formal request being received.  

Energy Performance Certificate: This is a review of your property energy performance and will make reference to the likely energy costs per annum together with comments on the central heating system and double glazing installed. This is also compulsory for all properties being Leased on a Short Assured Tenancy basis.
